Fall Pumpkin Dip

Fall is my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday. This halloween, try something a little different.  Carve out a pumpkin and fill it with this delicious dip.  It a great treat for the kids.  My grandkids Mike, Nicky and Danielle love pumpkin pie as well as pumpkin bread and muffins so I'm sure that this Fall Pumpkin Dip will put a smile on their faces. Not only is it delicious, but pumpkin is also good for you.  Check it out.

Pumpkin Health Facts: The bright orange color of pumpkin is a dead giveaway that pumpkin is loaded with an important antioxidant, beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is one of the plant carotenoids converted to vitamin A in the body. In the conversion to vitamin A, beta carotene performs many important functions in overall health.

Current research indicates that a diet rich in foods containing beta-carotene may reduce the risk of developing certain types of cancer and can protect against heart disease. Beta-carotene offers protection against other diseases as well as some degenerative aspects of aging.
