Johnny's Tropical Pearl Harbor's

My son-in-law, John, who bar-tends from time to time, makes the best mixed drinks around. Summer is now winding down. Why not hold on to it just a little bit longer. Treat yourself to one of Johnny's Tropical Pearl Harbor's.

John makes a variety of mixed drinks that are both colorful and delicious, but this one is my favorite. Especially, while sitting by their pool on a sunny day. The boy knows how to spoil his mother-in-law....right down to the pretty little umbrella.

As I said before, it's great having all this talent in one family.

Johnny's Tropical Pearl Harbor

Ingredients:

• 2 oz vodka
• 1 oz melon liqueur
• pineapple juice
• maraschino cherry for garnish
• pineapple chunks for garnish

Preparation:

Pour the vodka and melon liqueur into a shaker filled with ice.

Fill with pineapple juice.

Shake it up and pour into a Tall glass

Garnish with a maraschino cherry and pineapple wedge.
